I would recommend more education, perhaps not a degree, per se.

check out coursera, and pick a few courses that have the most impact. A PMI certification would be helpful also.

construction management specialization from Columbia University

It is actually a good start, I am studying construction managment and it personally benefited me a lot on a general scale but it doesn't delve into details.
