Looks like, at the recommendd pace, AI Engineering seemed promising, and would be $100. Would probably pair with this guy next time it's on sale to get a taste of the prod life.

What's the verdict, r/ds - is the IBM cert course worth it?

I think there course is a slightly more advanced course -

But I still found the person's post useful since I figure the quality and setup will likely be similar even if material isn't as advanced.

Hi! New here and need some advice regarding which courses to take. I took a couple of machine learning courses during my master's in math but now I want to improve my skills and learn about the different technologies being used in the field of data science. I've narrowed down my choices to the 2 below:

  1. DataQuest: this seems to be easy to follow and capable of building a strong foundation. I plan to follow the data scientist path. Black friday deal: $24/month
  2. Coursera's IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate ( ): the reason I like this one is because it covers many popular libraries such as Keras, tensorflow, PyTorch and puts a lot of focus on neural networks and deep learning. Cost: $65/month

Optional # 1 is definitely more affordable and that is important to me. Would really appreciate some advice on this!
