> But it is a safer alternative to inhaling smoke.

Is it really? Do we have decades of data to prove that? We do know that smoking will have long term negative impacts on our health. And we know that exposure to second hand smoke can have the same negative effects. Can you show me the data compiled from the 5 short years that vaping has been a thing that proves inhaling chemicals superheated by a battery rather than combustion is safe? I don't want to hear speculation that it is safer. I want definitive proof that vaping is safe. We know that smoking is hazardous. Are you comfortable telling people to go ahead and vape, because you think it is not as hazardous as combustion?

The University of Colorado just released a specialization, consisting of four courses, on the Coursera platform ("Medical Cannabis: The Health Effects of THC and CBD") . It covers a wide range of topics related to cannabis and health. Very similar to the course I teach to CU students, but designed to reach non-CU students and to be very affordable. Free to audit; $49 to take it for a certificate. https://www.coursera.org/specializations/health-effects-cannabis-thc-cbd
