Ruby on Rails Coursera course starts today : Web Application Architectures

This looks like it could be a great course for web dev beginners, or as an intro to Rails. The syllabus suggests proficiency with some language though.

It's six weeks and will cover all sorts of useful topics: MVC architecture, and a little bit of HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery. If you see it through, you'll have a blog to show for it, and some Rails knowledge. I'll definitely check it out. One more MOOC wouldn't hurt.

UPDATE: The new subreddit has been created! Head over to ...

Also, it looks like the modules are already released in full, so you can work at your own pace if you're a bit faster.
