Saw this and thought I'd share it. I haven't reviewed the materials; perhaps someone here will have some specific opinions. Some thoughts:

  • Will probably not require proof of any qualification to join so if you have sufficient literacy and are curious and like "online learning" give it a try

  • Some cities/states/provinces/countries have better continuing medical education re trans people available which in most cases would be preferred to this

  • If you have a prescriber you are working with who really seems like they'd help you if they could and just need a bit more confidence, this could help

  • If you would like to suggest this to a doctor or nurse who is involved in your carte, I would suggest extreme diplomacy... not everyone likes being assigned homework

  • Medical providers in many places must participate in a certain amount of professional education every year. I can see no evidence that this Coursers is accredited, so it would be basically a personal interest course for them. On their own time.
