Here's a great free course: https://www.coursera.org/learn/thermodynamics-intro

Khan academy has incredible videos to teach you the algebra you'll need in thermo, and calculus too to the extent you need it. Now is a better time than ever to self teach, there are endless resources. Libgen.is has a lot of free (though pirated) textbooks. YouTube is packed with videos.

Have fun learning! If you're motivated and interested, your background doesn't matter; you can learn anything.

Here, this is a free college level intro-thermodynamics course.

You may actually learn something from it; it's even available in German. It's plainly obvious that you need it.
