Being decisive takes practice, but I think for ENFPs we have an underlying desire to succeed without the desire to suffer very long to be successful. Schools fail with enfps often. They are built to help the majority of the population and those are sensors. I'd like to suggest reading some books by Matthieu Ricard or listening on Audible. If you haven't used audible before, here is a link to one for free.

The reason I recommend his books is that he has happiness figured out. Also, check out the Coursera course:

Your brain has an inclination to the negative, it's just nature. Also, Western Society tries to push an idea of success on everyone that just benefits the capitalism machine. For sensors, they can find fulfillment a different way, I think. Rationals can be fulfilled by mastering skills and achieving life goals. Idon't think enfps will find any comfort going for the same things. We need positive emotional experiences, adventure, to be on the cutting edge, and to live altruistic lives with a rich spiritual narrative. This isn't the same as everyone else. I would like to encourage you to cultivate positive experiences , go on adventures, and help others. Maybe check out some new sci fi books/movies. Look at enfp career fields and don't think you have to do one occupation for your whole life. I, personally, like the gig economy. I can do more than one job and control the majority of music or audiobooks I consume. I might not stay in it forever. It's ok to have "what's nexts." The occupational setups we have was based on factory efficiency, not personal happiness and well being. Emotional well being is so important for ENFPs, it's okay that it's important to you and not for everyone else. SSRIs do help. I have had depression off and on, too, but am doing well because I control my schedule a lot more. I feel like enfps are onto the indentured servitude thing that nt's can utilize to make money. I think it just gets to nf's a lot more than other types. Anyhow, hope you benefit from the links and know that you are unique and worthy of self care!!! Also, ask yourself if you are direction less or if you are interested in all things? You might see it's a matter of perspective.😉 I can bet it's the latter. Enfps are scanners. I follow Nicholas Kristof, writer for the New York Times. He is an ENFP, and from doing so I've learned being able to learn large volumes of information very quickly is a strength that ENFPs have. You may want to check that out, too!
