Both are fruit.

You: apple farmers are committing fraud

Me: proof?

You: look it up

Me: I don't see any proof

You: there wouldn't be any, apple farmers would lie about it

Me: Isn't this like if I just decided to say that orange farmers are fraudsters but I gave no evidence?

You: No because they are different fruits. And what incentive would orange farmers have to lie?

Me: Yeah okay, totally. Except this was an analogy so the type of fruit isn't really the point.

You: ooooh, I get it now.

Me: I can't believe I had to spell this all out for you. You're such a fucking idiot.

You: I know, I'm sorry, I'll delete my original comment about people in Chicago being shot in the head counted as covid patients. I will also go further and deactive my reddit account, and enroll myself in a media literacy course.

Me: Thank you. Good luck.
