Hey man, this is the start of an amazing adventure, you just lack the knowledge to walk this path, but we all start somewhere (I remember the first time I tried installing Ubuntu in my windows machine and ended up formating the whole HHD, what was fun).

You might find Arch hard, because it is hard when you don't know things (my gf always looks at me amazed when I'm hacking the universe, when I'm just updating the computer), but you will learn in no time if you decide to do so. I would recommend any online course on the topic, try any Linux flavour, or better, try them all if you want, all the things you will learn will be useful at some point. Then, after you walked all those different paths you can come back to the Arch installation with all those fancy new tools you adquired in different places, and you will see that what looked like a wall that no one could ever pass, is actually just a small step you can easily walk, and then you will realize how much you know and how much you have grown.

You can try this course in edX if you want to learn how linux works, or this in coursera if you are planning to be a developer, or this if you want to learn both windows and linux. These are some examples, when you watch any of those, you will be more fluent on the topic and then you will understand what all those fancy words in the wiki actually are.
