High school accounting courses tend to stay on the gaap side of things... True financial statement analysis, as you will learn, uses a ton of non-gaap measures.
BAT4M has some financial statement analysis (towards the end) however the focus of this course is more on recording transactions in relation to issuing securities (stock and bonds) and recording transactions in relation to asset purchases (capitalize vs. expense). Depending on your teacher, they may add some parts or take some out (as is with most mixed courses).
Keep in mind that the financial statement analysis you learn here will be highly accounting focussed, in that it is backward looking. In essence, this will be akin to many first year (1st semester) accounting courses at all B-schools.
