I passed mine today with the resources linked below, did the course Thanksgiving weekend and practice tests since New Years. I think I was very well-prepared. I have some learning challenges but I was able to complete it confidently well under the time limit.

Here is a quick start

All of these are free to audit and are official courses that are designed by AWS.

First the AWS basics

Then choose either Node or Python.

Then learn SAM

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/serverless-application-model/latest/developerguide/what-is-sam.html

Dive deeper when you get a chance

[I am the OP, posting for context]

These are some cloud courses that I looked up online. Again, I have no way to evaluate whether these are worth my time, or even if some of the better courses out there are in this list.

I just posted about the A Cloud Guru course for Cloud Practitioner being free for July :

https://www.reddit.com/r/AWSCertifications/comments/ocv8fh/a_cloud_guru_cloud_practitioner_course_is_free/

There is AWS's own training available in 3 different platforms - pick one that you like or use - note that AWS has plenty of other free training in each of these platforms

AWS's own site : https://www.aws.training/Details/eLearning?id=60697

edX : https://www.edx.org/course/aws-cloud-practitioner-essentials

Coursera : https://www.coursera.org/learn/aws-cloud-practitioner-essentials

FreeCodeCamp have a course created by Andrew Brown available via YouTube : https://youtu.be/3hLmDS179YE

Definitely don't have to pay for a course if you can learn on your own from videos and some hands on practice with a free tier account.

I have some other tips here : https://dev.to/aws-builders/aws-certified-cloud-practitioner-resources-guide-2c9d

If you are looking at the Solutions Architect course - try this one for some recommended resources AND 50% off voucher for the exam : https://pages.awscloud.com/GLOBAL_TRAINCERT_takethechallenge.html

Videos are hosted on Twitch.Tv and you get a summary page with pointers, slides and other resources as well.

Good Luck!
