There are some really good (and free) Android development courses at Coursera: https://www.coursera.org/learn/android-app

Right, I can definitely see Coursera covering more content and also beneficial as it provides a certificate.

It's just that I am not sure if that's the right course for someone who is a complete beginner when it comes to android app development.

There is also this course from Coursera and this seems great as well. So, I don't know what to choose.
